Nursing Appeals Council
The Nursing Appeals Council (NAC) reviews appeals related to the nursing program, nursing program policies and program eligibility.
The NAC is comprised of nursing faculty from each campus, two Student Development Services representatives and the associate dean/director of nursing. The council meets monthly during the academic year. The council does not meet when program faculty are not on contract, such as during semester breaks, 春假, 假期, weekends and summer.
Students wishing to present their appeal to the council should email council co-chairs 艾丽卡伯格 or 尼基奥利弗. All meetings are online; instructions for joining the meeting will be sent to students only as requested. Students requesting to be present will need access to a high-speed internet connection and access to a phone in a private area.
Appeals received three (3) working days prior to meeting dates will be reviewed at the meeting. Any appeals not received within three (3) working days of scheduled meetings will be reviewed at the next meeting.
Students wishing to submit an appeal to the NAC will complete the College Appeal 为m. Emails will not be accepted as appeals.
Students are encouraged to review the entire program progression policy outlined in the Nursing Program Policies and Procedures Manual. 12月isions are communicated in writing to students using their M州 student email account within 10 working days of the scheduled meeting.

Nursing transfer and progression
The Nursing Transfer and Progression Team (NTPT) assists M州 nursing students who are out of sequence or wish to transfer to another campus. This team determines seat availability and assists with registration.
The NTPT consists of the associate dean/director of nursing, one nursing faculty member from each campus and the selective admission specialist. Meetings are held at the end of each academic term to review revised plans of study.
Students who are out of sync or wish to transfer to another M州 campus should follow the procedure for revised plan of study in the Nursing Program Policies and Procedures Manual. The revised plan of study should include the following: all courses needed to finish the program, the semester in which the student requests those courses, the campus they prefer and rationale for requesting the specific campus location. Students will also need to attach their health form and current CPR and CNA documentation if they are a practical nursing or associate degree nursing student. If a student is out of sync or wishes to transfer to another M州 campus, all courses are on a space-available basis. Seats are not guaranteed in the term or on the campus requested. Any viable alternatives will be provided to the student.
Students who are out of sync or wish to transfer to another M州 campus should not register on their own, but instead should complete the nursing program Revised Plan of Study form. Emails will not be reviewed. Plans submitted three (3) working days prior to meeting dates will be reviewed. Any plans not submitted within the three (3) working days will be reviewed at the next scheduled meeting. The NTPT meets at the end of each semester to consider student placements for the next semester and will register students if they are able to be placed. Students are encouraged to review the entire program progression policy outlined in the Nursing Program Policies and Procedures Manual. Placements will be noted in e-services with a follow-up email.
